My testimony of life begins with my knowledge of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that I am a part of His plan and am here on the earth with a family that He has blessed me with, to teach me and guide me back to Him. I came to this earth as part of a blessed family that already had His gospel in their lives from their diligent searching and am blessed to pass it on to my children. I know of the Savior’s Atonement that allows me to repent and learn from my mistakes. I don’t have to fear eternal punishment as He has paid for my sins. I know of His resurrection that allows all to receive physical bodies upon resurrection.
The gospel was restored back to the earth after centuries of darkness and reformations through a prophet that the Lord called. It was done during a time that would allow the gospel to again thrive and allow the Lord’s Saints to again prosper on the earth. With the restored church, the authority of God was also restored in His priesthood power that was given to the prophets of old. The same miracles of healing and blessing are here on the earth and are given to those worthy individuals who aspire to serve the Lord and fulfill His purposes.
Temples have also been restored to the earth which provide additional blessings to the worthy who enter. Families can be forever through the sealing power of the restored priesthood and the ordinances provided in temples. Because the Lord loves everyone, those individuals who have not had the opportunity to hear of His Gospel will get that chance before they stand before God to be judged.
